Minneapolis-Made Ghost Movie on Rental Shelves
Across the Nation Three Days Before Halloween
In July of 2007 a cast and crew of Minnesotans spent two weeks in an abandoned North-East Minneapolis warehouse filming the ghost flick "13 Hours In a Warehouse."
Which went on to compete in film festivals during the spring of 2008, winning a Gold REMI award at World Fest, the Best Horror Feature Film at the Indie Spirirt Festival, and was an official selection of the Nevermore Horror film festival.
The film distribution company Maverick Entertainment bought the film, and Minnesota horror fans will be pleased to find it on the shelves of Blockbuster stores and RedBox's across the country on October 28th 2008.
The 92 minute film starts after five guys pull off the perfect heist and end up in an abandoned warehouse waiting for their buyer to show up. But it isn't the 13 hour wait that is upsetting; it's the strange numbers that keep appearing everywhere and the feeling like they are being watched. When they finally figure out that they are not alone, it's too late to get out alive.
Special-effects make-up on the film was done by St. Paul native Crist Ballas, who's work can be seen in "Batman & Robin," "Reindeer Games," and "Sweetland."
Actor Paul Cram, who is no stranger to the horror genre with such credits as "Intermedio" and "Chiseled," plays a major role in the film. With one of his scenes being covered under a 4 page nudity rider contract.
The cast includes: Carson Lee, Chars Bonin, Danny Salmen, Cody Lyman, Paul Cram, & Meisha Johnson
